The Qur’an is not merely a book to be recited, but a way of life, a spirit that grants life its true meaning, and the Word of Allah which falsehood cannot approach from before it or behind it.There is no honor greater than learning and teaching it, as the Prophet ﷺ said: “The best of you are those who learn the Qur’an and teach it” [al-Bukhari]. It is the absolute goodness that nothing can surpass, for it is a direct connection to the words of the Lord of the Worlds, a carrying of His message, a walking in the path of His prophets, and an imitation of the Sunnah of His Messenger ﷺ. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Whoever recites a letter from the Book of Allah will have one good deed, and the good deed will be multiplied tenfold. I do not say that Alif-Lam-Meem is one letter, but Alif is a letter, Lam is a letter, and Meem is a letter” [al-Tirmidhi].
